Your first few weeks at college
Week 1: Getting to know your College
From Monday 1st – Friday 5th September
This week we will be giving tours, providing demos on the tools that we use at College, and staff will be giving information talks at the start of lessons.
Week 2: September sign up
From Monday 8th – Friday 12th September
Find out about and sign up to enrichment activities and clubs that we have available in College.
We will also be holding a sign up fair – more information to follow.
Week 3: Let us know what you think
From Monday 15th – 19th September
Take part in surveys and discussions to let us know how it’s going.
Tuesday 16th September: Parent/carer information session running between 5pm – 7pm.
Week 4: Swap Don’t Drop
From Monday 22nd – Friday 26th September
We want to make sure that you are happy with the course that you’re on.
Did you know that if you aren’t completely happy, you can swap to a different course? We can support you in finding the right course for you.
Week 5: Careers and skills
From Monday 29th September – 3rd October
A careers fair will be taking place on campus this week, there will also be speakers and workshops happening thoughout the week, more information to follow.
Week 6: Wellbeing week
From Monday 6th – Friday 10th October
We have a wellbeing focus this week which will include a range of activities which will include a colour run at the end of the week, and you might get to meet our campus therapy dog Elsa!

Week 7: Higher Education focus
From Monday 13th – Friday 17th October
This week we focus on higher education and what’s available for our learners, it will include sessions and workshops, more information to follow.
Week 8: Celebration Week
From Monday 20th – Tuesday 21st October
This week we will celebrate the end of the first half term, this will include rewards for attendance and general awards for our learners, more information to follow.

Join the Student Ambassador Team and inspire the next generation of students.
This is a paid, casual role that fits around your studies. You’ll help at a variety of events and share your experiences with prospective students.
